Vintage MCM Zaalberg Studio Pottery Mug Set

Midcentury stoneware Zaalberg Holland studio pottery mug set.  The workshop, founded in 1918, produced era defining pottery and operates today under the fifth generation of family potters.

Stoneware natural-brown and green matte exteriors and a natural-white gloss glazed interior.  Wood fired.  1950s - 1960s. Includes the saucers.  A great size for coffee, hot chocalate, or even a cup of soup.

Mugs - 4.5" diameter by 3.5" tall
Saucers - 6" diameter

Mugs and saucers are in good condition with little signs of use.  Hand-wash recommended, but dishwasher safe. Not recommended for microwave use.
