Vintage Late 1940s Gingham Swimsuit with Terrycloth Cover Up

The most adorable swim/playsuit and matching cover up!  Lightweight green and white gingham cotton.  The playsuit has a semi-fitted waist and a blouson bodice with a tie front.  The skirt has an attached nylon lining.  Back buttons.  The white terrycloth cover up has short sleeves and a subtle A-line silhouette...and a hood!  The original tags are still attached.

  CONDITION:  Overall excellent.  The swimsuit set has never been worn.  The only thing to note is that we have not laundered the swimsuit to preserve the 'new' feel.  There are no obvious stains or issues; it simply needs a hand-washing.  The cover up has been washed to remove visible storage dust.  Also, the strap length seems a bit long, but they can easily be adjusted to the length you need with just a few stitches.
