Vintage Late 1930s Cotton Folk Dress

This day dress was definitely influenced by the folk styles that were so popular during late 1930s.  Lightweight green cotton with a tangerine and petite floral stripes.  Puff sleeves with elastic ruffle.  Fitted bodice with a gathered skirt.  Button front closure.  Amazing details.

Circa:  Late 1930s / very early 1940s

Condition:  Excellent.  The dress appears little worn.  We replaced the deteriorated elastic in the sleeves.
