Vintage Early 1940s Pink Roses Wide Brim Hat

So sweet and so eye catching!  Natural toned, woven straw with a horsehair band trim.  Classic late 30s/early 40s silhouette with a flat-top and slopping-back crown.  Three large pale pink roses accent the front with a grey ribbon band.  Sits atop the head and looks great worn with a slight tilt.  Marked size 22 1/2 (see measurements).

  • DETAILS:
    Label:  Janyth Roy
    Fabric:  Straw; horsehair; millinery
    Circa:  Late 1930s - early 1940s

CONDITION:  Overall very good.  The hat shows light, normal wear.  There's one very small (less than 1") section of horsehair that has either been repaired or was mis-stitched during manufacture (isn't distracting at all, but mentioned for accuracy).  There is also some age-related wear to the millinery (see photos).  Nothing major, but priced accordingly.
