Vintage 1970s Jeff Banks Mini Dress

Jeff Banks

A rare and collectible dress from Welsh designer Jeff Banks — one of the massively influential designers of the 1970s British Boutique era, alongside Ossie Clark, Jean Muir, and Barbara Hulanicki of Biba.

Common among 1970s British fashion, this dress is heavily influenced by 1940s silhouettes. Lightweight rayon with a patchwork of abstract and floral print. Deep V-neck with buttons to the waist. Puff sleeves. A-line mini skirt with gores (panels) of different print. Unlined. Back zipper. Made in England.
