Vintage 1940s Fur Trimmed Turban Hat

This is one of the gorgeously dramatic hats we've ever had in the shop.  Black felt cap with black rayon jersey pleated around the bottom to create a turban style look.  Fur trim circles the top.  Rayon jersey trails from the back of the hat.  The hat still has it's 1940s "Hollanderizing" cleaning tag attached.   The hat sits a bit higher on the head than a traditional turban (which sits down on the head), which gives the hat added drama.
