Vintage 1940s Floral Black Rayon Dress

An iconic 40s dress.  Lightweight black rayon with pink flowers.  Dolman sleeves with shoulder pads.  Fitted waist.  A-line skirt.  A black bow is attached at one side of the waist.  The skirt is longer in the front and back than the sides, giving the skirt a fun swing motion.  Unlined.  Side metal zipper, along with a small neck zipper.

  CONDITION:  Overall very good - excellent.  The dress shows normal wear.  The only thing to note is a stitched repair on the back shoulder (see detail photo).  A former owner added a thick gros grain ribbon to the him to give it more length and weight.  Priced Accordingly; Sold As Is.
