Vintage 1940s Embroidered Velvet Palestinian Jacket

A stunning traditional Bethlehem jacket (taqsireh) - part of a Palestinian bridal trousseau!  Soft black velvet with intricate gold brocade embroidery with hints of pink, green, and blue.  The jacket is cropped with short sleeves and an open front.  It is fully lined.
