Vintage 1940s Cocoa Crepe Swing Dress

A beautiful 1940s swing dress!  Lightweight brown crepe.  The neckline and sleeves are trimmed with scallops.  The drawstring tie at the neckline is long enough to be creative with wrapping around the bodice or the neck.  Pleating and ruching at the waist created a slim fit that flares into a bias cut swing skirt.  Back waist tie and side metal zipper.

Condition      Overall very good.  The dress is in lovely, wearable condition (especially considering its age).  There are a few areas of iron shine and some of the stitches on the neckline are loose (see photos).
