Vintage 1940s Black Velvet Tilt Hat

So very Film Noir!  Soft black silk velvet that is wrapped around a flexible center with a faux knot at the back from which two velvet tails hang.  It looks best worn slightly forward and tilted on the head.  This lovely hat will require a hat pin to secure it to the hair.
