Vintage 1930s Purple Velvet Evening Gown with Rhinestones

Lightweight silk velvet in a rich, dark purple.  Peaked waist with a slightly blouson bodice covered with rhinestone lightning bolts.  The sleeves have a fitted cuff with a full drape that is open at the bottom for full movement.  Straight, bias cut skirt.  The back has a keyhole opening (can be worn open or closed with hooks-and-eyes) with a low-hanging tie.  Small side snap opening.
