This 1930s velvet dress is so soft and drapes the body so beautifully! Lightweight silk velvet in a very dark brown. The shearing over the shoulders creates full, draping sleeves and upper bodice. An attached bow tie accents the neckline. There is a classic 30s peaked waist. The skirt hits about mid-calf, depending on your height. Side snaps and buttons at the back of the neck.

Condition: Overall very good. The dress is in wonderful wearable condition. There are just a few minor cosmetic issues to note. There are a cluster of nicks to the velvet on the back on the sleeve (see last photo), but they are mostly hidden in the shoulder draping. There are also a couple of pinholes in the skirt that are extremely difficult to see unless held in front of a light. These certainly won't be noticed at all if a dark slip is worn.
