Vintage 1920s Meeker Tooled Leather Purse with Celuloid Clasp

This is one of the most amazing examples of early tooled leather purses we've ever had.  Brown cowhide leather with a an Arts and Crafts embossed floral and striped design on one side.  Hammered, brass-toned metal frame.  The handle has floral tool work  It closes with a turn-key lock with a green plastic pull (celluloid or another type of older plastic; it doesn't not test positive for bakelite).  The interior is unusually clean and still has the original coin purse.  Laced seams.  Truly stunning!
