Floral polyester chiffon with a long ruched bodice. Gathered cap sleeves. Folds, pleats, gathers, and layers of the skirt are typical of Rei Kawakubo's designs. Raw hems throughout (which naturally fray). Lined with same fabric. Back metal zipper. Made in Japan.
Seen on the runway in a slightly different design for the Spring 2006 collection. The same dress is also held in the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne.
