Vivienne Westwood Harris tweed wool corseted ensemble from the Fall 1995 Vive La Cocotte collection - one of the most iconic shows of her career. Staged at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, the show reflected Westwood's interest in 18th century French fashions and culture.
The ensemble features a riding-style jacket is extremely fitted with a nipped waist and puff sleeves. It attaches at the front to a beautiful corset waistcoat (vest) with oversized lapels. The waistcoat has an interior white zip-front corset. It closes with eight sets of orb buttons. The jacket has a beautiful pale pink silk lining
