This 50s shirtwaist dress is a perfect transitional season piece - just add a cardigan or jacket and you're ready for cooler Fall evenings.  Lightweight, slightly sheer brown cotton.  Classic shirtwaist styling with pleating down the front and back of the bodice.  Semi-full, pleated skirt.  Gold-toned buttons. Side metal zipper.
