What a classic early 50s dress and jacket set! The dress is a lightweight cotton with a navy and white gingham check. It has a simple silhouette with a very subtle A-line skirt and side metal zipper. The jacket is a navy rayon blend (feels like linen). It has a great peplum hem with two patch pockets and gingham bow trim. There are shoulder pads in the jacket. Both pieces are unlined. Original belt included.

Condition: Overall excellent. The dress has never been worn. We have not laundered this dress to maintain the 'new' nature of the dress (crisp cotton, etc.). There is a very faint bit of storage dust on the bottom of the skirt; this will come out with the first cleaning.
