Vintage 1930s Black Tailored Wool Suit

"The Classic style is perfectly designed.  The new longer-length Jacket has high, peaked lapels, nipped-in link-button waist, broad shoulders, 3 beveled pockets..." (description from the 1939 Wards Catalog of a suit almost exactly like this one).   The jacket is fully lined.  The skirt buttons at both sides and hangs straight with a front kick pleat.  An amazing example of 1930s menswear-style tailoring for women!
