Vintage 1950s Two Piece Cress Green Floral Dress Set

This could possibly be THE perfect 1950s dress set!  The polished cotton blouse is an interesting shade of golden-green and, because of the sheen of the cotton, changes color from dark-gold to muted-moss-green in different light (see note).  It has a sexy wide neckline with gathering over the bust.  Double darts in the front and the back give the top a beautiful shape.  It closes in the front with fabric-covered buttons.  The floral, cotton skirt is a circle skirt with pockets.  Side metal zipper.  The original wide belt in included.  What we love about dress sets is that the pieces can also be worn as separates to create many different looks!

NOTE: This dress set was photographed with a crinoline, not included.  Also, we included a darker photograph (the last photo) in an attempt to show the naturally variable color changes, although the difference is even more pronounced in person.  The color has the same properties as chartreuse - looks different in different light - and could possibly even be called a dark, muted chartreuse.
