Vintage 1930s Brown Linen Sportswear Shirt

These Depression Era sportswear separates are so rare!  Lightweight brown linen.  Short puffed sleeves.  Bow accent at the neck.  Pin tucking on the upper bodice.  Peaked waist.  Back tie belt to cinch in the waist.  Keyhole neck opening in the back.  This amazing top slips on over the head with no additional openings.  Just imagine this paired with some wide leg linen pants!

  CONDITION:  Overall good - very good.  The top shows normal wear, with just a few issues to note.  There is still a bit of stiffness to the linen fabric (this should loosen up as it is washed more).  There are two older darning repairs on the back (see photo).  There is an old metal laundry tag staple showing through one shoulder; we opted not to remove this (see photo).  And, there is some very faint unevenness in the brown tone on the back (barely noticeable).  Priced Accordingly; sold AS IS.
