This amazing late 1940s suit has such a chic, contemporary silhouette! Lightweight wool (blend?) with a classic Glen plaid in browns and blues. The double breasted jacket has wide, padded shoulders an a nipped waist along with decorative flap pockets. The swing skirt is a full, A-line with a side metal zipper and a hook-and-eye waist. The jacket is lined with brown rayon, but the skirt is unlined. The two pieces work amazingly well as separates also to create different looks.
