Vintage 1920s Silk Kutch Embroidered Coat

Medium-weight black silk with amazing Indian Kutch embroidery and mirrored discs.  Duster length.  Open front.  Beautiful printed silk lining.  A truly wonderful piece of history.  This was sold to European tourists visiting Egypt in the 1920s (during the time of the Tut tomb opening).  The coat is Indian in origin, imported to Egypt by the firm D. Chellaram for the tourists looking for "oriental" souvenirs.
