Vintage Late 1940s Japanese Indigo Dyed Robe

A beautiful yukata robe.  Lightweight white cotton with a quality white and indigo dyed hash mark design.  Classic styling with a straight silhouette and arms.  Upper back lined with cotton gauze.  Can be worn as a bath robe or a lightweight, summer jacket.  Rope belt not included.

We acquired this robe along with a collection of souvenirs brought back at the end of WWII.  It was originally a boy's robe, but can easily be worn by a small adult.  We removed the original tag to wash the robe, but the tag will be included.
