Antique 1910s Beaded Black Striped Cotton Day Dress

A beautiful piece of fashion history!  Lightweight, sheer black cotton with satin-finish stripes.  Shawl collar with a beaded and lace trimmed front panel bodice.  3/4 length sleeves with wide cuffs.  Slight empire waist.  Straight, flowing skirt. The bodice is lined with cotton.  The dress closes with layers of snaps and hooks-and-eyes down one side of the bodice panel and across the waist.  The waist measurements can be adjusted with the movement of a snap.
NOTE:  this lovely dress will require your favorite vintage slip as the skirt is sheer.
